OverviewLocation: Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Oahu, HI.
Pay Scale: WS 11.
Salary: $49.62 - $57.89 per hour.
Schedule: Full-time.
Appointment type: Multiple.

Responsibilities- Supervise repair, removal, field changes, modifications, reinstallation, and checkout of systems and equipment on submarines or surface craft.
- Assign tasks, tools, equipment, and materials to workers.
- Interpret plans and instructions for the work group.
- Maintain work operations under close observation and control.
- Resolve work problems and take action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other delays, requesting special permission or assistance from higher levels of authority.
- Plan the sequence of tasks, layouts, work assignments, and any special work methods to be utilized.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Must pass E‑Verify employment verification check.
- Retired military members within 180 days of retirement may be appointed subject to DoD regulations.
- Male born after 12‑31‑59 must register for Selective Service.
- Must complete pre‑appointment physical exam.
- Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must successfully complete a pre‑employment drug test (including marijuana).
- Must wear personal protective equipment continuously during the shift.
- Work may involve harmful physical or chemical agents; must participate in medical surveillance.
- May require travel within and outside the continental U.S.; must be able to travel by air for extended periods.
- Must review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct.
- May be exposed to high noise levels.
- May have to work nights, weekends, and holidays; overtime or night differential may be required.
- May need to work in small or confined spaces.
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
