MECHANIC - $35/hr HTM CONTRACTORS, INC | Honolulu, HI
We are seeking a full time diesel mechanic to join our team! HTM Contractors, Inc., a leading service contractor in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a skilled Mechanic specializing in Heavy Equipment and Diesel Engines. We are a diversified company offering services in tree service, junk removal, roll‑off dumpster rental, environmental cleaning, and street sweeping. Pay&
Schedule:
- $35 per hour
- Monday
- Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM - Weekly Pay
- Medical and Dental Insurance – 100% Company Paid (Employee + Full Family) Begins after 4 weeks averaging 20+ hours/week
- Holiday Pay – 10 Holidays Per year
- PTO – 160 Hours per year
- Birthday Pay (after 1 year)
- Life Insurance: $10,000.00 company-paid

- Perform the diagnosis & repair of company-owned assets
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Perform the scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and/or services on company-owned assets
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and safety
- Repair automobiles, trucks, excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, cranes, wood chippers, and other tools and equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the trucks and equipment to be in use
- Clean abstract
- Must have own tools
- Previous experience with diesel engine diagnostics‑repair & maintenance, hydraulic diagnostics‑repair & maintenance
- Additional experience is a plus in the following:
- Small engine diagnostics‑repair & maintenance
- Electrical
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
