Primary Purpose of the RoleAs a Mitigation Technician, you'll be one of the first people on-site after a property loss. You'll assess the damage, stabilize the property, and begin the restoration process while providing excellent customer service during a stressful time.
Every day is different. You'll work alongside an experienced team using specialized equipment, responding to emergencies, and helping restore homes and businesses across Hawaii.
This position will contribute in the following ways:- Respond to emergency calls involving water, fire, mold, wind, and other property damage.
- Assess damage and assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other restoration equipment.
- Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and cleanup.
- Safely remove damaged building materials as part of the mitigation process.
- Inventory, pack, and transport customer belongings when needed.
- Document job progress using company software and mobile technology.
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry standards.
- Has a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Enjoys hands-on work and solving problems.
- Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Is dependable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Can safely lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Is comfortable using mobile devices and technology in the field.
- Has experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or a related trade (preferred but not required).
- Holds asbestos, mold, or lead abatement certifications (highly preferred).
- Competitive pay starting at $22.00/hour (higher based on experience and certifications)

- Must be available for on-call emergency response, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight work.
