Full‑time Maintenance Technician II at Kukui Gardens, a 398‑unit affordable housing community in Honolulu, HI. Property type:
Tax Credit. Salary range: $23.75–$35.15 per hour (hiring range for new employees: $23.75–$29.45 per hour, DOE). Requires more than 2 years of apartment maintenance experience; knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance; valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record; basic computer skills;
Yardi Voyager a plus.

The Maintenance Technician II performs a wide variety of maintenance duties without vendor assistance on a property with 100+ units.

• All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
• Interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• AC filter changes; coil checks, cleaning, and repairs when necessary.
• Annual unit inspections.
• Ensures turnover of units within 5 days.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Reliable transportation with a clean DMV record.
• HVAC certification (preferred).
