Job Title

The duties include:

Supervising the repair, removal, field changes, modifications, reinstallation, and checkout of systems and equipment assigned to Nuclear or Non-Nuclear Sections onboard submarines or surface crafts.

Assigning tasks, tools, equipment, and materials to workers.

Interpreting plans and instructions for the work group.

Keeping all work operations under close observation and control.

Resolving work problems and taking action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other delays, requesting special permission, decisions, or assistance from higher levels of authority.

Planning the sequence of tasks, layouts, work assignments, and any special work methods to be utilized.
