Job Description

You will prepare, coordinate, and conduct established classroom trade theory instruction and supplemental on-the-job training for pipefitter personnel.

You will determine the depth of employee's trade knowledge, provide mentoring, and coordinate training opportunities to ensure skill gaps are addressed.

You will prepare period updates related to training records and reports to the Trades Development Program Manager; provide periodic assessments for pipefitter personnel to determine technical proficiency in the trade.

You will schedule and coordinate training for various shops and assure that on-the-job training is appropriate and aligned with the training plan.

You will train pipefitter personnel in the best methods for pipe system repairs; and skill to make repairs to a variety of pipe systems.

You will research and implement leading-edge practices and techniques as well as the research of modern tools and equipment.
