Heating Air Conditioning Technician

HAWAI'I UNIFIED is a licensed General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Steel Door Contractor, and Fencing Contractor providing services throughout the Pacific Islands. They specialize in construction projects such as Design/Build, Build-Outs, Remodels, and Tenant Improvements. They also offer services in energy, maintenance, and restoration including renewable energy project development, facility repair & maintenance, and mold remediation.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician at HAWAI'I UNIFIED located in Honolulu, HI, with flexibility for some remote work. The Heating Air Conditioning Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing plumbing tasks, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations. Some tasks may involve working with electricity. The role will primarily be located in Honolulu, HI, but remote work is acceptable for certain tasks.

• Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills
• Plumbing knowledge and experience
• EPA certification or knowledge of EPA regulations
• Understanding and experience with electricity
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications or licenses in heating and air conditioning
• Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is a plus
