To perform general and semi-skilled maintenance and mechanical activities in the facilities common elements; ensure systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and common areas are clean, disinfected and maintained in an aesthetically appealing condition; and to perform a variety of related tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING Experience- Two (2) years of building maintenance experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a high-rise residential or large hotel services environment is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Additional specialized training in the building trades or a related field is preferred.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certificate.
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of:
- Basic principles and procedures of semi-skilled building maintenance.
- Basic principles of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, minor electrical and general cleaning work.
- Operation and principles of life safety systems and equipment.
- Operational characteristics of tools and equipment used in maintenance activities.
- Equipment, tools and supplies used in the area of work assigned.
- Occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00/ Year
