Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor; CH​/UH

ARS is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor (CH-47/UH
-60) to work in Honolulu, HI. To join our team of outstanding professionals,

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate aircraft maintenance personnel performing maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of UH-60 Black Hawk and/or CH-47 Chinook aircraft.
• Plan, assign, prioritize, and monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements and established delivery schedules are met.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and component replacement activities.
• Supervise maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, including:
  • Engines and powerplant systems.
  • Main and tail rotor systems.
  • Transmissions, gearboxes, and drivetrain components.
  • Flight control systems.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Fuel systems.
  • Landing gear.
  • Airframe and structural components.
  • Mechanical and related aircraft systems.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to mechanics and technicians in diagnosing and correcting complex aircraft mechanical, structural, and system malfunctions.
• Review maintenance requirements and technical documentation to determine appropriate personnel, tools, equipment, parts, and resources necessary to accomplish assigned work.
• Ensure maintenance personnel properly interpret and follow applicable aircraft technical manuals, maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and other approved technical data.
• Monitor work in progress and completed maintenance to ensure compliance with applicable technical publications, quality requirements, safety standards, and established maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production control, quality control, engineering, supply, safety, and other supporting departments to minimize aircraft downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Ensure mechanics have the appropriate tools, test equipment, technical data, parts, and materials required to safely and efficiently complete assigned maintenance tasks.
• Provide oversight of aircraft inspections, component removals and installations, adjustments, rigging, troubleshooting, structural repairs, and aircraft modifications.
• Verify that aircraft maintenance actions, inspections, discrepancies, corrective actions, and component changes are properly documented in applicable aircraft logs, records, and maintenance systems.
• Review maintenance documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements before aircraft or work packages are released to the next phase of maintenance.
• Assign work based on technician qualifications, experience, workload, and aircraft maintenance priorities.
• Provide technical instruction, mentoring, and on-the-job training to mechanics and lower-level technicians.
• Evaluate employee performance, productivity, workmanship, attendance, and adherence to established maintenance and safety procedures.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), tool control, FOD prevention, and established aviation maintenance safety requirements.
• Identify maintenance delays, technical issues, personnel shortages, or material constraints that could impact aircraft schedules and communicate them to appropriate management personnel.
• Coordinate shift turnover and ensure accurate communication of aircraft status, open discrepancies, incomplete maintenance actions, and priority requirements.
• Maintain accountability for assigned personnel, tools, equipment, work areas, and aircraft maintenance activities.
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for aircraft maintenance personnel and coordinate with customers, engineers, quality representatives, and management as required.
• Ensure UH-60 and/or CH-47 aircraft maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable technical publications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and established aircraft delivery schedules.

• High School graduate/GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience working with Uh-60 aircraft.
• Must be US citizen.
