Job Overview
Associate Application Developer – Pasadena, CA. ADP Technology Services seeks a developer to design and implement software solutions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): planning, design, development, testing, reviews, and demonstrations.
- Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, UX designers, and engineers to design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions.
- Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write, package, test, configure, and deploy code.
- Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design.
- Write testable, scalable, and efficient code; lead code reviews and quality checks.
- Support the development team in coding, testing, and debugging applications.
- Develop and enhance software programs and data structures to meet business objectives.
- Build and maintain high‑performing teams, share knowledge, motivate others, and foster engagement.
- Maintain a “learn‑as‑you‑go” mindset, continuously updating skills with new technologies and practices.
- Deliver polished solutions, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders, product owners, and peers; present executive‑level status updates.
- Identify solutions to inevitable challenges and drive improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or Master’s degree with no required experience).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience (or equivalent coursework).
- Proficiency in Angular or React, JavaScript or Type Script, HTML/CSS, and object‑oriented programming.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and REST‑ful services (JSON).
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ IDE.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies quickly.

Base salary range: $100,121 to $122,000 per year, plus potential bonus or equity compensation. Pay varies by location, skills, and experience.
