R&D Software Engineer - Generative AI

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Software Engineer with a passion for innovation to join our Generative AI research team at American Express.

• Conduct research in Generative AI and related domains.
• Develop and implement innovative algorithms and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate research findings into practical applications.
• Contribute to writing and publishing scientific papers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in the field.

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Passion for research and innovation in Generative AI.

• Knowledge of additional ML frameworks like Keras, Scikit‑learn, or Hugging Face.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
