Position Overview We are seeking an experienced hands-on Service Now Developer to support a major U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Service Now modernization effort. This is a development-focused role—not an architect or consulting position. The selected candidate will join an established Service Now development team supporting enterprise platform implementation across multiple Service Now products. This position will primarily focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM) including Discovery, MID Servers, CMDB, Service Mapping, Active Directory integration, and platform integrations supporting DoD operations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and support Service Now applications
Build and deploy ITOM capabilities
Install and configure MID Servers
Configure Discovery and Service Mapping
Build and maintain CMDB aligned to CSDM
Configure Service Graph Connectors
Integrate Service Now with:
Active Directory
MECM
Solar Winds
Enterprise systems
Configure Indoor Mapping
Develop server-side and client-side scripting
Build Flow Designer workflows
Develop Script Includes
Develop Business Rules
Configure Client Scripts
Create UI Policies and UI Actions
Develop REST and SOAP integrations
Build scoped applications using App Engine
Support Agent Workspace implementation
Configure ITSM modules including:
Incident
Request
Change
Problem
Knowledge
Participate in Agile ceremonies
Package releases using Update Sets and Scoped Applications
Follow existing coding standards and change management processes
Collaborate with government stakeholders and existing Service Now developers
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Service Now Development experience
Strong JavaScript development skills
Experience with :

Experience with :
Flow Designer

Experience building REST and SOAP integrations
Experience configuring:
