Recruitment Number 25-0455. This is an urgent vacancy in the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Homestead Services Division.
NOTE: A valid State of Hawaii issued Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B is required at the time of application. A copy of your CDL must be submitted with your application; otherwise, the application will be rejected. A valid out‑of‑state CDL may be accepted but must be transferred to a Hawaii‑issued CDL within 30 days of employment.
Duties SummaryThe position involves operating two or more types of heavy motorized equipment (e.g., heavy trucks, rollers, loaders, light tractors). You may also perform manual construction and maintenance tasks, operate graders and heavy tractors as needed, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsLegal Authorization to Work: Applicants must be a citizen, national, permanent resident alien of the United States, or otherwise eligible for unrestricted employment in the United States under federal law.
General
Experience:
At least one (1) year of experience operating at least two (2) types of motorized equipment representative of the Class Equipment Operator III (e.g., heavy truck, roller, loader, tractor).
Commercial Driver’s License: Applicants must hold a valid Hawaii issued CDL Class B at the time of application. Out‑of‑state CDLs may be accepted under the same conditions described above.
