Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist

Location:

Cox Automotive, USA. Work location specified. No remote option.

Work shift:

day. Compensation: $18.17 - $27.21/hour, may include commission or incentive program.

Responsible for accurately entering vehicle information into the system and preparing vehicles for auction sales.

• Input vehicle information (VIN, stock number, dealer , make, model, year, mileage, color, options) using a handheld computer (Zebra TC).
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers and place work order numbers and routing labels on each vehicle upon entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and model safe behaviors.
• Assist on sale days by driving vehicles through auction lanes, taking photographs, and preparing condition reports as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Safe driver with a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and lift 1-15 pounds.
• Adequate vision for close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Outside position exposed to weather elements.

Pre-employment drug test required; marijuana not tested. Must be drug-free during work hours.
