As a Flat Bed Driver at INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS, INCORPORATED, HI01, you will play a critical role in the safe and timely transportation of oversized and heavy freight across various routes. This position requires expertise in operating box trucks, ensuring that all cargo is securely loaded, fastened, and transported in compliance with safety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and operational efficiency.

The role demands strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to optimize delivery schedules. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the company’s reputation for reliable and professional freight services on both local and long-haul assignments.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and securing cargo safely.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Valid license

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL
  
  B) with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation
• Certification in cargo securement or related safety training programs.
• Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles.

• Operate flatbed trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform detailed vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify and address any mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transport.
