The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Homestead Services Division, has ONE (1) urgent vacancy.

This position requires a valid State of Hawaii issued Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class

B.

Operates two or more types of motorized equipment such as heavy trucks, heavy rollers, loaders and light tractors as a major work assignment; may perform manual work tasks in connection with general construction and maintenance work; may operate graders and heavy tractors as an incidental work assignment; and performs other related duties as assigned.

• Valid State of Hawaii issued CDL Class B (a valid out‑of‑state CDL may also be accepted but must be transferred to a Hawaii‑issued CDL within 30 days of employment start).
• One year work experience involving the operation of at least two types of motorized equipment representative of the class equipment representative operator III (e.g., heavy trucks with a factory rated capacity of 5 tons or over, rollers of 5 tons or over, loaders, and tractors such as D‑4, TD‑6, and TD‑9 with bulldozer blade attachments), or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States: citizen, national, or permanent resident alien, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
