Mail Agent
U.S. Aviation Services has immediate openings for a Mail Agent at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
Shift Information: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Weekend/holidays required.
Start Times:
- 6 AM
- 12 PM
- Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight and mail from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to safely load and unload freight.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials (Haz Mat) shipments in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Ensure freight is properly sorted, secured, and prepared for transport.
- Communicate with Supervisor/Manager.
- Adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Move and stack materials.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned.
- Must be able to obtain an Airport Operations Area (AOA) badge and Ramp License.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
- Must be able to pass USPS background check.
- Freight/Mail handling experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Handling of Haz Mat training.
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred).
- Hazmat: 1 year (Preferred).
- Dockworker, LTL Freight, Shipping/Receiving, or Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred).
- Forklift (Preferred).
