Inventory Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

EXPERIENCE WITH BUILDING MATERIAL IS REQUIRED.

Seeking a detail oriented and highly motivated individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to research and resolve inventory discrepancies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records of products received and outgoing material.

* Conducts cycle counts.

* Identifying discrepancies preparing balance and shortage reports.

* Participate with physical inventories.

* Performs other related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have previous inventory experience.

* Building material experience a must.

* Travel to the Neighbor islands as needed.

* At least 3 years of inventory experience

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Proficient with computers

* Must have a valid driver's license

* Must be able to work on weekends as needed for physical inventories.

* High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially in multitasking

* Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

* Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

* Ability to perform basic math calculations.
