Collection System Maintenance Division is seeking a detail-oriented Storekeeper II
. This full-time, permanent role, located in Aiea
, involves receiving, storing, and giving out supplies, keeping inventory records up to date, and reconciling purchase card transactions to support sewer maintenance and construction work.
- Issue supplies, tools, and equipment from the storeroom as requested and inspect damaged or worn items for usability.
- Maintain the store keeping system by setting up and following procedures for supplies, tools, equipment, and spare parts used across sewer maintenance, shops, and offices.
- Manage inventory levels by tracking over 2,500 items, setting minimum stock levels, and ordering replacements as needed.
- Receive and verify deliveries by inspecting, counting items, and checking invoices for accuracy in quantities and pricing.
- Reconcile purchasing card transactions daily in the system and submit required invoices and statements for payment.
- Support warehouse operations and deliveries by conducting physical inventories and operating equipment or vehicles to move or deliver supplies.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
- Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
- Will serve as a Disaster Response Worker during declared civil defense emergencies.

Education RequirementEquivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
Experience RequirementTwo (2) years of computerized store keeping experience.
Must Be Able To- Apply the principles and practices of store keeping.
- Follow purchasing rules and regulations.
- Plan, establish, and maintain store keeping systems.
- Plan, lay out, assign, and review the work of others.
- Inspect supplies to determine their operational fitness.
- Make simple arithmetical computations.
- Work harmoniously with others.
- At Time of Application:
Valid Driver's License (type3/automobile). - Prior To Completion Of Probation:
Valid Forklift Certification (Class V).
