Warehouse Keeper – Honolulu Rail Project
Responsibilities- Handles and manages the O&M Organization’s entire warehousing and material distribution functions, including the main storeroom and satellite storerooms.
- Handles physical distribution of material, tools, and equipment throughout the metro system.
- Receives and inspects incoming and outgoing material to ensure maximum efficiency and inventory control via MMIS.
- Follows established procedures to ensure on‑time delivery of material based on system usage, individual storeroom needs, distribution channels, resources, and storage requirements.
- Maintains receipt inspection procedures to ensure incoming material meets specification requirements.
- Coordinates discrepancies with suppliers to secure parts availability for the O&M Organization.
- Prepares requisitions for stock replacement, repair parts, and tool calibration.
- Handles supplies, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Conducts physical inventory of supplies, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Complies with all maintenance procedures and instructions, including safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Performs duties as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
- Works flexible shift schedule including weekends and holidays typical of major infrastructure projects.
- Performs additional cross‑functional duties as required.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationships with internal customers to maximize operational support, credibility, and responsiveness.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in warehouse operations.
- Holder of a valid U.S. state driver’s license.
High School diploma or equivalent.
CompensationPay: $26.91 per hour.
