PositionPurpose
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As an Inventory Auditor, you will monitor and maintain the accuracy and adequacy of Operating Company inventories.
Primary Responsibilities- Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post total inventory records.
- Compare inventories to office records or compute figures from records.
- Verify clerical computations against the physical count of stock and adjust errors or investigate discrepancies.
- Compile receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
- Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
- Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
- Review and investigate daily reports.
- Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
- Prepare a list of depleted items and recommend surveying defective/unusable items.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work a Monday – Friday schedule and be available for required overtime.
- Remain physically capable of standing, walking, reaching, and lifting repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1+ year of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
- 1+ year of forklift experience and ability to obtain certification for powered equipment such as forklift operation.
- Strong communication and math skills; accurate in applying information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate general computer skills, including 10‑key data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable availability during scheduled / assigned times, including required overtime.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly, lift moderately heavy items (10–35 lbs, commonly 60–90 lbs) from various heights, and work in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
- Passed post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
- 2+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
