Shipyard Laborer (Upcoming Project)
Aerotek is currently seeking Shipyard Laborers for an upcoming project in Hawaii. We are building a pipeline of qualified candidates now due to the lengthy security clearance and base access process required before the project begins.
Important InformationThis position requires DBIDS (base access) approval before starting work. The approval process can take 4 to 6 weeks, so interested candidates should apply immediately to begin the clearance process and ensure they are eligible when the project starts.

- Needle Gunning
- Sanding and Grinding
- Surface Preparation
- Material Handling
- General Shipyard Cleanup
- Assisting Skilled Trades as Needed
- Following All Safety Procedures and Shipyard Regulations
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a shipyard environment
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Previous shipyard, construction, labor, industrial, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
