Materials Handler; AFRC), NA-

Serves as a Materials Handler in the Warehouse Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.

Provides a full range of store keeping services involving quality control inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of perishable foodstuffs for all hotel kitchen operations. Receives incoming shipments of food, some of which have been reviewed by the hotel warehouse staff. Inventories and orders all direct issue items such as produce, dairy products, breads, etc. Completes receiving documents and moves to storage areas.

Identifies and rotates stock ensuring special storage requirements have been met. Issues materials in accordance with established procedures. Verifies inventory and shipping documents, independently prepares shipping documents and related reports. May operate a forklift in storing and rotating stock.
