JOB SUMMARYThe Capital Projects & Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support to the Director of Capital Development & Planning. This position supports capital planning and project delivery while assisting with day-to-day coordination of Waterfront and Marina operations, parking programs, and related public-facing services.

REQUIREMENTS- Three to five years of operational experience, preferably in roles involving lease or contract management, marina or waterfront operations, customer service, project coordination, or work with public agencies.
- Must be bondable.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pass background check.
- A four-year degree in a related field (such as Business Administration, Recreation Management, or Marine Operations) is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for marina tenants, waterfront users, and event hosts on day-to-day operations and customer service.
- Support marina tenant operations and lease compliance, including renewals, extensions, amendments, permits, agreements, insurance, and records coordination.
- Coordinate tenant and event communications, logistics, and site access related to projects, maintenance, utilities, parking, and public access to ensure safe, continuous operations.
- Administer waterfront and marina-related parking operations, including access, permits, enforcement coordination, dispute resolution, revenue tracking, and issue escalation.
- Coordinate capital projects from planning through construction, including schedules, budgets, consultants, and issue escalation.
- Prepare staff reports, Commission materials, and project documentation; support environmental review and permitting coordination.
- Maintain project records for grant compliance, audits, and public records requirements.
- Provide day-to-day administrative management of the Port of Hood River Foundation, including meetings, records, and communications.
- Support grant documentation, reporting, and reimbursement tracking in coordination with Finance and the Director.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and documentation; coordinate with supervisors and managers; and participate in staff meetings and cross-department coordination.
