Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Up to 8 call shifts per month, ideally including 2 weekends. 24-hour call shifts (7 am Thursday - 7 am Monday or 7 am Friday - 7 am Tuesday)
- Job Setting: Hospital. Not required to be onsite for call but must respond within 15 minutes for stat c-section
- Types of Cases: OBGYN after hours clinic call, inpatient OB and GYN ED call, unassigned OB call, and c-section backup for Family Medicine OB physicians. Low and high risk pregnancy, routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions. Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations. Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major). Hospital performs approximately 350 deliveries per year (OBGYN group delivers about 50%).
No VBACs or planned deliveries Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Licensure: Active OR license and OR DEA
