Obstetrics and Gynecology
Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician and make a meaningful impact on women's health in a dynamic hospital setting. This opportunity offers a flexible, locum position providing high-quality care for patients requiring inpatient and outpatient gynecological and obstetric services. Be part of a supportive environment where your expertise ensures safe, efficient care during critical after-hours shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills:
- Active Office of Regional (OR) License and OR DEA certification
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to respond within 15 minutes for stat cesarean sections
Skills:
- Prior experience in rural or community hospital settings
- Familiarity with emergency obstetric procedures
- Experience working with obstetrics residents or multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual abilities a plus
Education and Experience:
- Doctorate or MD from an accredited medical school
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in OB/GYN
- Previous locum or hospital-based practice preferred
- Availability to cover up to 8 call shifts per month, including weekends (e.g., Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday shifts)
- Willingness to respond promptly to emergency situations within hospital response times
- Privileging process may take approximately 90 days, so timely application completion is essential
- Travel and licensure reimbursements provided as applicable
