ANPC is a global supplier of precision approach guidance and area surveillance solutions aimed at improving the safety and capacity of civil and military aviation for customers on all seven continents. Our transponder-based solutions are designed to serve airfields where others cannot. We are a team of extraordinary professionals working together to perform an important mission to uniquely serve airports with terrain, obstacles and other challenges that no other business can provide.
Aboutthe Role
As a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer, you will serve as the technical leader responsible for anchoring a new Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (cUAS) product line. You will act as the engineering anchor, driving multi-sensor integration and hardware/software fusion to bring advanced, marketable surveillance solutions to life.
Responsibilities- Requirements & Con Ops: Capture and translate Voice of Customer (VoC) and Business Development input into formal product requirements and Concepts of Operations (Con Ops) for a new surveillance solution.
- Multi-Sensor Fusion: Lead the technical evaluation, selection, and integration of complex sensor suites—including radar, optics, and multi-layered tracking software—into a cohesive system architecture.
- Radar Optimization: Configure, calibrate, and precisely tune primary radar systems to maximize target detection and optimize signal processing performance.
- Antenna Modernization: Manage the technical evolution and design transition to advanced antenna systems and electrical beamforming capabilities.
- Productization: Drive the formal engineering development, testing, and scaling phase for newly demonstrated system capabilities.
- Simulation & Analysis: Conduct rigorous product performance analysis, modeling, and validation utilizing advanced simulation tools to predict real-world efficacy.
- Feasibility Studies: Investigate and analyze complex integration pathways between proprietary transponder landing platforms and complementary radar/sensor systems.
- Field Demonstrations: Support and execute live customer demonstrations at our local airport and various global customer sites, including international travel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Systems or Computer Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience as an RF Engineer.
- Extensive hands-on experience with radar configuration, calibration, optimization, and digital signal processing (DSP).
- Deep understanding of advanced beamforming methodologies, phased array technologies, or directional transmission.
- Proven expertise in multi-sensor integration and managing data streams from disparate sensors utilizing advanced sensor fusion software.
- Proficiency with simulation tools to model, analyze, and accurately predict RF system and waveform performance.
- Strong technical writing skills for authoring verifiable requirements, Con Ops, and test reports.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for field deployments and client trials.
- Demonstrated experience in the technical evaluation, procurement, and vendor management of third-party sub-systems and software packages.
- Experience executing live field trials, managing deployment logistics, and handling customer-facing technical communications.
- Familiarity working within the regulatory, compliance, and acquisition environments of government or defense contracts (DoD/FAA).
