The Massage Therapist at One Community Health (OCH) is a licensed healthcare professional who uses evidence-based manual techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain, improve range of motion, promote relaxation, and support overall wellness. This role includes assessing patient needs, reviewing relevant medical history, and providing individualized massage treatments, as well as education on stretching and self-care to support treatment outcomes.
The Massage Therapist works collaboratively within the clinical team to support whole-person care. This position is part-time and located at our Hood River, Clinic location.
- 2 years of clinical massage therapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques and their application for pain management, stress reduction, and overall health and wellness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and the community.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of and adherence to ethical, professional, and clinical standards of practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to rapidly learn, understand, and follow a wide range of workflows, policies, and business rules.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High level of initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Ability to produce high-quality work while meeting productivity and timeliness expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and within a multicultural workforce.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), multi-line phone systems, and other standard office equipment.
- Understanding of HIPAA, patient privacy laws, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic, community health care environment.
- Current and valid state license as a Massage Therapist.
- Current CPR/BLS certification in accordance with OCH policy.
- Successful completion of credentialing and privileging per OCH policy.

- Hourly:
Starting at $43.00/hour, increases depending on experience - Bilingual Differential:
Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
