OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including long‑term care, assisted living, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Works is highly valued. The CNA will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate care tailored to each patient's needs.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately within medical records systems.
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs.
- Assist with catheter care, wound care, and aseptic techniques to prevent infection and promote healing.
- Support patients in post‑acute care settings such as skilled nursing facilities or home & community care environments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings like ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Centers to deliver timely patient services.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols including basic life support (BLS), infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
- Document patient interactions thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinical

Qualifications- Valid CNA certification required; prior experience in long‑term care, hospital medicine, ICU, or emergency medicine preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, and medical documentation standards is essential.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred; familiarity with home & community care systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced environments such as trauma centers or urgent care clinics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with patients experiencing complex health issues like infectious disease or post‑operative recovery.
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks including lifting (Hoyer lift), standing for extended periods, and assisting with mobility needs.
