Join Our Team as a Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital needs a LDRP RN for 13 weeks
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be instrumental in managing active labor and postpartum care, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive outcomes for mothers and babies. You’ll have the flexibility to float between units at various facilities, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent, providing versatile and comprehensive care.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during active labor and 1:3 postpartum
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to float to different units and adapt quickly to various environments
- Reliable transportation for facility travel
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or Critical Access Facility
- Proficiency with Epic charting software
- Flexibility with scheduling and floating to multiple sites
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Accredited Nursing Degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred)
- At least 2 years’ recent experience in labor and delivery settings
- Knowledge of AWHONN staffing standards and protocols
Other Requirements:
- Vehicle required for facility travel
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend
- Ability to float between units and facilities as needed;
