- Float: Yes—float between units based on needs; may also float to nearby affiliate hospitals based on skill set
- Charting System / EMR: Epic (required)
- Orientation: 48 hours

- Travel Requirement: Personal vehicle required
- RN Experience: 5 years of Registered Nurse experience required
- Clinical Background: Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required
- Leadership: Previous charge nurse experience preferred; prior house supervisor experience strongly preferred
- License: Active Oregon RN license (may be pending at time of submission, if allowed)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS highly desired
- EMR: Epic experience required
- Travel Nursing: Prior travel RN experience required
- References: Two supervisory/leadership references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (charge/lead RN references accepted)
- Practice Readiness: Comfortable supporting patients across the lifespan (neonates through geriatrics) in a community hospital environment
- Provide hospital-wide clinical leadership and operational oversight during assigned shifts
- Coordinate patient flow, bed placement, admissions, transfers to higher level of care, and discharge support (including AMA processes as needed)
- Lead and support rapid response and code events; mobilize resources and ensure timely escalation
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to maintain safe staffing, throughput, and unit readiness
- Support bedside teams with coaching, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, isolation procedures, and workplace safety practices
- Monitor, document, and escalate safety concerns, incident reports, and sentinel events per policy and regulatory standards (e.g., TJC/OSHA)
- Serve as a visible clinical resource across departments, supporting customer service and professional communication
- Float as needed based on organizational demand and within scope of competency
