Overview

The Resident Service Coordinator works primarily to support both individual resident and community well-being, education and development. The service coordinator's role is diverse and resident-directed. Service coordinators identify and promote access to services in the community, provide case management services as needed and requested, and develop programs and resources that support resident and community health and wellness. The Resident Service Coordinator's purpose is to promote safety, independence, aging in place and quality of life.

• 2 years of experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and/or non-elderly disabled.

• Bachelor s Degree Social Work, Human Services, or degree in Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling; a college degree is fully acceptable. Individuals without a degree but with appropriate work experience may be hired.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
