Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, Hood River, OR.

Job Type: Per Diem / Variable Shift

Responsibilities

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt and accurate manner. This includes filling/dispensing oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.

Required Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician upon hire, or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or training; graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
  • Inpatient experience
  • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
Pay Range

$20.92 - $32.00 (Base pay only; additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses may be available.)
