Description:

TRAVEL EXP ED or ICU Exp RN House Sup - Req 9697

Will position float between units: yes per unit needs

Is on-call required? No

Are weekends required? Yes days and/or nights- variable with weekdays

Are block schedules required? No

What are expected ratios? no ratios

Special requirements: ED or ICU experience. Needs BLS, ACLS. PALS highly desired. Possibly accept candidate without PALS but would not be ideal candidate without this.

* Note for Seaside floating only If your traveler is booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, they will receive + $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement. If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

No cath lab, no IR, no neurosurgery. We do offer general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN (350 births a year), ENT, podiatry, wound care services, and endoscopy. 25 bed critical access hospital. Must be prepared to respond to a variety of clinical needs and situations. There is always an administrator on call to assist. Nurse Managers are available during dayshifts for additional support.

There is an ED physician in house at all times. There is on call pharmacy support overnight. Must be comfortable…
