Job Summary

- One year recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses as required
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare, explain, and position patients for procedures.
- Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment.
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health professionals.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within CT tech scope.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, bend.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, assistance with procedures, use of equipment.
- Mental requirements: handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work without supervision if needed, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration on details.
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
