Reasonfor Coverage: Long-term permanent search
Practice Setting:
- Supervision for ECHO/Nuclear stress tests
- Office cardiac device checks and EKG interpretation
- Average 12 PPD
Schedule:
- Part-time coverage
- No weekends or call required
EMR: EPIC
Credentialing: 90 days
Requirements:
- Board certification
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum1-year Cardiology experience or equivalent
Responsibilities (Generalized):
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treata variety of medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Orderand interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
- Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Performprocedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensurecoordinated care
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialty
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose andmanage complex medical conditions
- Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient workload
- Abilityto work independently while also collaboratingeffectively with a healthcare team
Education:
- Masterof Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology,pediatrics)
- Masterof Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program
Licenses&
Certifications:
- Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Oregon
- National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP])
- Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Oregon
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Experience:
- Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Travel:
If you residegreater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have yourtravel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.
