Bar Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at Lightwell Hotel + Spa. The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar(s), including managing bar and bar staff, inventory, ordering, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional service to guests.

Lightwell will have a multi-outlet restaurant operation. This role will be an excellent opportunity for someone experienced to gain new skills and knowledge in managing and leading people, and an introduction to FNB Leadership. The ideal candidate will be community-minded and driven to integrate the community into the hotel.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff
• Train new employees and provide ongoing training and development for current staff
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Help maintain compliance with all OLCC requirements
• Develop a bar program - curate liquor inventory and cocktail list
• Passion to create unique mocktails and spirited drinks

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Knowledge of beverage trends and industry best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
