Housekeeping Attendant

Lightwell Hotel + Spa is currently seeking Housekeepers to join our new team in Hood River, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.

Full-time and Part-time available; must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Sanitizes and cleans rooms following housekeeping procedures
• Make beds and change linens as needed
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company procedures
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Stocks, housekeeping cart, and storage rooms
• Follows the safety procedures of the hotel and the handling of chemicals
• Notify management of any damages, deficits, and disturbances

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Ability to lift to 40lbs and 25lbs consistently
