Field Service Representative Job Hood River area,Oregon USA,IT/Tech

Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our range of electro-mechanical systems at customer sites. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, including but not limited to [list specific systems].
Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored technical support.
Train customers on the operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Document service activities, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate with internal teams to elevate complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, while performing field service activities.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electro-mechanical technology to enhance service delivery.
Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical and software systems.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
50% travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands Of Position

Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
