You will perform daily packaging operations at a 50,000bbl per year, and growing, brewery. You will learn to operate canning, kegging, bottling, and labeling equipment, and work with a dynamic team. You are a crucial part of the production process and will be expected to work well within the production operations teams to maintain the high quality of pFriem beer throughout the packaging process.
Abreakdown of your tasks and requirements
- Learn and adapt to how we do things in the packaging department.
- Primarily support tasks of the canning line and independent operation of the kegging line.
- Support bottling, labelling, and other tasks at our specialty beer facility in Cascade Locks
- Clean and sanitize all packaging and support equipment.
- Work shifts at the Hood River (≥80% of time) and Cascade Locks facilities (≤20% of time).
- Work a 4x10h schedule:
Tu-F; 5:00am-3:00pm or 12:00pm-10:00pm - Warehousing, cleaning, and general facilities upkeep.
- Follow all SOPs, checklists, and guides provided by management.
- Safely operate a stand-up electric forklift and willingness to be certified within 30 days.
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety protocols.
You are someone who is hard-working, has good attention to detail, hustles and will work well in a busy but efficient brewery. You are self-motivated, capable of multitasking effectively, and able to work with a sharp focus and tidiness.

You are a juggling masterWork in a production brewery can sometimes be hectic, no matter how well we plan, and how good our team is. You don’t get fired up under pressure, and know how to prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude. You know how to ask for help and how to manage tasks and emotions when it’s go‑time.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Proficiency with MS office, Google suite, and basic computer skills.
- Comprehend and remember standard operating procedures.
- Be on time for all shifts, ready to work, with a clear head.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and push or pull up to 165 lbs.
- Access to a smart phone.
- Licensed to drive and access to reliable transportation.
- Solid references are a must.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Shift differentials for all shifts starting after 12:00pm and anytime on weekends.
