Double Mountain has been proudly serving up craft beer and cider in the Columbia River Gorge for over 18 years, alongside cranking out New Haven-style thin-crust pizza, sandwiches, salads, and tasty appetizers. We have grown into the Portland market over the past 10 years, with Taprooms in the SE Woodstock neighborhood and N Portland Overlook neighborhood, and also run the kitchen in the Aladdin theater during showtimes.

You will be operating forklifts, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and driving company vehicles to transport supplies/beer between our warehouse and brewery locations. Brewery duties will include: clean and fill kegs, work the packaging line for bottles, and clean/sanitize packaging equipment areas. You’ll get to assist with soda production and some Cidery work as well. You must have a spotless driving record and be ready to work in a fast-paced fun environment with a smile.

Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery is seeking hard-working self-motivated team players to join our brewers. T his position will perform all general brewery operations to produce high quality beer while maintaining a clean and safe brewery with little to no direct supervision. Be ready to start with packaging, next cellar work, and eventually on to the brew deck! After enough experience, you will have input on recipe development and opportunities to develop your own.

1-5 years of experience in a brewery is required. Lab and sensory experience preferred.

Additional Information: This a physically demanding position. You should be (or will become) fit and able to lift heavy loads repeatedly for hours while standing on concrete in warm humid conditions. You’ll learn to drive a forklift if not already certified and work safely in a brewery environment.

Cider

Marker, you’ll perform all general cidery operations to produce high qualityciderwhile maintaining a clean and safe environment with little to no direct supervision. Be ready to start with fruit processing and cellar work. Other responsibilities will include root beer/ginger ale production, kegging, and bottling. 1-5 years of experience in a brewery or cidery is required. Lab and sensory experience preferred.

Most Line Cooks start at Double having already had a minimum of 1-2 years experience. While our menu isn’t terribly complex, the Taproom is very busy and our standards are high.

Everyone at Double is in the Tip Pool. Your compensation will be very competitive and you won’t find a more fun place to work.
