The Oregon Long-Term Care Ombudsman is seeking Certified Ombudsman volunteers to advocate for individuals living in care facilities. These volunteers will identify and resolve complaints through direct visits and phone support, ensuring residents' rights and choices are honored.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal history check. A flexible commitment of approximately 16 hours per month is needed, along with initial and ongoing training to provide adequate support for the individuals served.
