25‑bed Critical Access / Level III Trauma Center Teaching hospital.
Daily census: ~15 patients. Charting:
Epic. ED physician in‑house at all times. On‑call pharmacy overnight. No cath lab, IR, or neurosurgery. Services include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN (~350 births/year), ENT, podiatry, wound care, endoscopy.
3x12s – Days (0700–1900) or Nights (1900–0700). Variable weekends (typically every 3rd, occasionally every other). No block scheduling. No call required. 48 hours not approved.
Role Expectations- Oversees nursing care across all inpatient units.
- Responds to hospital‑wide clinical situations.
- Bed management & admissions.
- Rapid Response & Code Management.
- Crisis intervention & de‑escalation.
- May float based on facility needs.
- Must be comfortable mixing antibiotics and basic pressors (non‑premix).
- 5+ years RN experience.
- Prior House Supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Travel experience required.
- ED or ICU background required.
- Epic experience required.
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
- PALS (Highly preferred)
- NRP (Preferred)
