Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations, chopping vegetables, and preparing simple dishes. If you have a passion for food and want to work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, and desserts
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, etc.

• Proven experience as a Prep Cook
• Accurate and proven knife skills
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Manual dexterity is required to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• A team player with good communication skills
• Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure
