Produce Clerk

Overview

As a Produce Clerk, you will be at the forefront of bringing nature's bounty to our customers' tables. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and displaying fresh fruit products, ensuring they are of the highest quality and freshness for our customers.

Your dedication to organization and customer service will help our customers access the finest fruits, vegetables, and herbs while enjoying a positive shopping experience.

• Welcome and greet customers with a smile and help them locate produce items.
• Assist customers by answering questions about our produce and provide recommendations.
• Wash, peel, cut, and package various types of fresh produce; stock and rotate fresh produce.
• Regularly check the freshness of fruits and vegetables on display and ensure all produce is fresh.
• Remove items that do not meet quality standards or show signs of spoilage.
• Monitor inventory levels and help ensure the produce display area is well stocked.
• Stay up to date with current, future, seasonal, and special ads in the produce department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge and passion for produce.
