This position is Bilingual Spanish Required. Please indicate on your application material if you have bilingual Spanish language skills. There is a 5% bilingual language differential.

- Conduct interviews to determine family needs and eligibility, and complete program applications for program benefits and, if eligible, issue appropriate support.
- Engage clients in family evaluation of strengths and jointly develop a case plan and identify the steps the family will take towards self-sufficiency and meeting their basic needs.
- Monitor progress, needs, and make necessary modifications to the case plan.
- Initiate and participate in case staffing, employment readiness, life skills training, and supports job search as needed.
- Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.
- Explore alternate resources and link clients to community services and may also assist with supporting resources and services within the community.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a closely related field.
- OR 1 year of human services related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- OR 2 years of human services related experience with an Associate’s degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science or a closely related field.
- OR 3 years of human services related experience.
- Experience supporting families with case management tools and resources.
- Experience creating and maintaining written documentation of activities concerning individual client cases.
- Experience with case management and assessing customers’ strengths & service needs.
- Experience in communicating, establishing boundaries and setting realistic goals/milestones.
- Experience explaining complex rules, regulations, processes, and procedures both verbally and in written communications.

- Work schedule:
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST, Monday – Friday. Occasionally may need to adjust schedule based on service need. No remote work. - Position is in a storefront office.
- Requires flexibility to assist various district offices on a temporary and long-term basis to ensure continuity of operations.

- High volume of individual and family contact.
- Exposure to diverse range of customers with compassion, professionalism, cultural and trauma-informed lens.
- Contact with domestic violence survivors; self‑care and available resources are important.
- Work conducted in offices, participants' homes, and other community sites.
- Hours may vary day to day; may include evenings and weekends.
