Job Description
Domino's is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We offer a flexible schedule that allows you to balance school, other work, and personal time. The position is suitable for those seeking a main job, supplemental income, or a future management opportunity.
Job Requirements and Duties- You must be 18 years of age.
- You must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- You must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Use of the vehicle’s insurance coverage is required.
- You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Deliver product by car to customers, deliver flyers and door hangers, and drive within the assigned delivery area.
Many team members begin as delivery drivers and can advance to management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate operations.

- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Orientation and training provided on the job.
- Have strong communication skills – both written and verbal, with customers and co‑workers.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands to perform precise movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and the potential for hot surfaces from ovens up to 500 °F.
- Work in cramped areas such as walk‑in coolers and with hot surfaces or moving mechanical parts.
- Regular use of hand tools such as peel, cutter, and overhead controls.
- Tripping or bending to reach high or low areas.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. - Walking:
For short distances and durations. - Sitting:
Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries often require unloading with a hand truck, with loads up to 50 pounds. - Carrying:
Products and equipment such as large cans and pizza dough, typically up to 12 pounds per tray. - Pushing:
Trays on dollies may require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push or pull. - Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
- Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. - Crouching/Squatting:
Occasional to stock shelves or clean low areas. - Reaching:
Continuous up, down, and forward reaching, including above 72 in to turn on/off oven controls. - Hand Tasks:
Frequent use of forearms and wrists, form manipulation of pizza peel and rolling cutter, pinching during cardboard packaging, and grasping of cans, phones, and pizza equipment. - Use of equipment:
Pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.
- Deliver product by car to the customer's door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.

- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking, climbing, and driving.
- Make several deliveries per shift within a designated area.

- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions while delivering, driving, and couponing.
