This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and resilient Finance Professional to join our team at the DPA in the Netherlands.

About Specialized Nutrition GSP

SN GSP (EU) consists of a network of 10 European SN Factories producing +5.000 unique products, representing a Cogs value of around 2.3Bn Euro, for circa 70 CBUs worldwide within Danone. The SN GSP Finance Operations team is responsible for driving the performance and managing the financial statements of all these Supply Points within the network. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the Material Cost equation of SN GSP and work closely with both the Supply Points and C &P.

About the Job

  • Owner of the full Material Equation of SN GSP EU with a value of 1.5Bn Euro
  • Drive accuracy in reporting of the Material Spend in Cogs Variance, MVA, and PPV
  • Provide analyses and insights on Material Cost development, and translate this to Product (Category) and Business impact
  • Be the business partner for C &P and Operations
  • Create a strong Material Controllers community within our network of Supply Points
  • Support in (Reformulation) productivity business cases
  • Drive process and reporting improvements, fully utilizing existing and to-be developed systems and tools

About You

To succeed in this role, you fulfil the following:

  • Strong financial analysis and accountancy background
  • Excellent people/stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to switch between detailed analysis and big-picture thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo, continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong System/Tool knowledge:
    Excel, Magnitude, PowerBI, IPROview
  • Fluent in English
  • Fast learner, positive energy, committed, resilient
