Field Account Manager

Job Overview

Field Account Manager at Sony, based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. This role focuses on driving in‑store sales and offline promotion of Sony products for customers in the de‑centralized buying environment, with the goal of meeting sales and profit targets while strengthening customer relationships.

• Plan and conduct customer visits, focusing on key opportunities and a customer‑centric approach.
• Achieve sales and profit targets, increasing Sony’s in‑house share among allocated customers.
• Manage accounts in a multi‑channel retail environment, maintaining and extending the customer portfolio.
• Reach ranging and stock level targets for allocated product categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Brand Activation, Sales Management, etc.) to bridge communication between Sony and the customer.
• Ensure the execution of comprehensive promotional and communication plans for each promotional or launch period.

• Proven commercial experience in consumer electronics or FMCG (plus).
• Experience in multi‑channel retailing and knowledge of e‑commerce marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying key opportunities from raw data.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Higher education with a commercial background preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and motivation skills for store staff.
• Result‑oriented mindset and open to continuous improvement.
