Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has just opened a 4‑star airport hotel. We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales & Marketing Director to take ownership of our sales and marketing performance. With 281 rooms, six meeting and event spaces, and the dynamic energy of a brand‑new opened hotel, this is your opportunity to position the hotel in the market, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth from day one.
As Sales & Marketing Director, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring both sales and marketing strategies to achieve the hotel’s commercial objectives. You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership, ensuring your team performs at its best while identifying new opportunities in a competitive market.
You play a key role in strengthening our brand position, building long‑term client relationships, and translating market insights into concrete actions that deliver results.
Your Responsibilities Include
Developing and executing the overall commercial strategy, translating it into clear sales and marketing plans
Leading and coaching the sales and marketing team to optimize performance and processes
Analyzing market trends and identifying new business opportunities, locally in the Haarlemmermeer region and nationally and internationally
Driving revenue growth and achieving sales and marketing targets
Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key clients across all segments (corporate, leisure, meetings & events)
Managing budgets effectively in line with market developments and competition
Monitoring performance and reporting commercial results to the General Manager
Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure alignment and a seamless guest experience
Working together with the Radisson Hotel Group Sales team
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably within both sales and marketing
Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial skills
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Good understanding of market trends and the hospitality industry
Experience in driving performance and achieving targets
Proactive, results‑oriented, and hands‑on mentality
Fluent in English and Dutch
